A memorial fund has been set up for the surviving children of Dan Austin, friend, colleague and former officer of the Fire Marshals’ Association.
Dan served as past Secretary of the Fire Marshals’ Association (2015-2018) and the Office of the State Fire Marshal as Chief Fire Code Consultant before transferring to Existing Building Code Consulting.
Dan passed away on July 2, 2020. He is survived by his wife Trish, daughters Tori and Jess, and a son, JT.
